- Conference 2008 - Brisbane (E. Horton)
Suggested 2009 Perth, 2010 Hawaii
- That the PESA Rules be changed so that the PESA Executive position of (e) Trans-Tasman Representative (from the country with a minority of members of the Committee) be replaced with (e) Up to two 'Member Representatives' (to provide balance in terms of age, gender, experience and/or geographic location). P. Fitzsimons/M. Peters
It was ruled that one of these positions replaced the existing position of Trans-Tasman representative with a second position being added. This meant that since Linda Graham had been elected as Trans-Tasman Representative, that this meant that only one Member Representative position was vacant. Accordingly, nominations for this position were called for. Andrew Gibbons was nominated by M. Peters/L.Graham. There being no other nominations, Andrew Gibbons was declared elected.
- That PESA establish an annual "PESA essay competition" as per the attached conditions. P. Fitzsimons/N. Devine
That the competition be known as the "PESA Essay Competition" and the award known as "The Les Brown Philosophy Of Education Essay Prize". P. Fitzsimons/J. Roe
- R. Harrison reported on her PESGB Bursary to attend the PESGB Summer School.
- N. Devine and J. Ozolins reported on the inaugural PESA Scholarships.
